Cartmel Priory has been one of Cumbria's top schools for progress for a number of years. The 2018 cohort entered from primary school with SATs scores below the national average and left with GCSEs above the national average. This is the fourth year out of 4 this has been the case (i.e. since progress 8 was introduced to measure school performance).
