About the Course

Year 7-9

E-Safety, ICT (including spreadsheets, databases, web design, presentations) and computing (including abstraction, logic, algorithms and data representation) skills and knowledge are taught across the key stage.


Year 7 - 9

Students work is assessed throughout and at the end of each unit of work. 


All years will be set homework as and when relevant. This may involve preparation for the next lesson, involving students in tasks such as learning key words, research, planning, worksheets or collecting of resources required for the current topic.

Years 10/11

Students can opt to study.


Certificate In Digital Applications covering the use and application of a broad range of software.

GCSE Computing

The school offers the new GCSE Computer Science qualification which covers hardware, logic and programming amongst other areas of study.
