Our Christian Ethos

As a Church of England school, our Christian values shape the way we learn, grow, and care for one another.  At the heart of our vision are our two primary values: Faith and Courage. These guide us as we encourage every child to believe in themselves, step forward with confidence and face challenges with resilience.

We also embrace the values of Respect, Forgiveness, Kindness, Trust, Love, Compassion and Tolerance. These values help us create a community where every individual feels safe, valued and supported. They influence our relationships, our decision‑making and the way we celebrate each student’s unique gifts.

Our values are rooted in the words of Jesus in John 10:10: “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”  This message inspires us to help every young person flourish academically, socially, and spiritually.  We want our students to experience a rich and fulfilling education that nurtures their character as well as their learning.

We welcome families of all faiths and none and we believe these shared values help us build a caring, hopeful and inclusive school community where every child can thrive.
