Attendance

Attendance Statement

At our school, we want every child to enjoy learning, feel part of our community, and achieve their best. Good attendance is a big part of this. When students are in school regularly, they make stronger progress, build friendships, and feel more confident.

What We Ask of Parents and Carers

  • Please make sure your child attends school every day unless they are genuinely unwell.
  • Let us know on the first morning of any absence.
  • Keep us updated if your child is struggling with anything that might affect their attendance.
  • Try to book medical appointments outside of school hours where possible.

How We Support You

We understand that sometimes difficulties arise. If attendance becomes a concern, we will:

  • Contact you early so we can work together
  • Offer support to help remove any barriers
  • Involve other services if needed

Our aim is always to help your child get back into a positive routine.

Working Together

Good attendance is a shared effort. By working in partnership, we can make sure every student has the best chance to succeed and enjoy their time at school.
